The climate crisis – driven by the burning of fossil fuels (oil, coal & gas) - is no longer something we fear for future generations.
Heatwaves are disrupting our schools, workplaces, hospitals, transport networks and food systems. People are dying.
Approving new oil & gas fields in the North Sea will make this crisis worse and do nothing to lower our energy bills.
We call on you, as our MP, to get off the fence and publicly oppose all new oil and gas projects in the North Sea.

We are raising the alarm about the Climate and Ecological collapse.
CODE RED FOR HUMANITY
The alarm bells are deafening, and the evidence is irrefutable. Fossil-fuel burning is choking our planet and putting billions of people at immediate risk.

The world is in crisis. The genocide in Gaza, the war in Ukraine, cost of living, the strikes and the Climate and Ecological emergency are all interdependent. They are the same crisis with the same root cause; the system doesn’t work. And so, the system needs to change.
We have 3 demands:
Tell the Truth. If we don’t take radical action it is likely that we will run out of food and water and our social systems will collapse, resulting in large scale civil unrest.
Act Now. The collapse of our climate is the one issue that contains every other issue. We are out of time and must make the transition to a just society immediately.
Decide Together. If the government aren’t willing to take the necessary action then we must get out onto the streets and peacefully demand that they let citizens decide how to tackle climate breakdown.
And so we focus on 3 things;
Pressuring the government and big business to do what is necessary through non-violent direct action
Demanding a citizen led end to the fossil fuel era and a just transition to renewable energy
Supporting our community to take collective action and show that a different world is possible here in Hastings and St.Leonards
